28 years and counting for our elitesquash junior summer camps.

It’s both inspiring and a bit scary to know we have been running our summer camps for over 28 years. Elitesquash camps began in Exeter all those years ago with the mission to provide the ultimate environment for you people to maximise their potential. This remains the same today. 

A few things have changed. We are now running our camps in Bristol which has become the global hub for world class professionals. Former world champion and world number 1 Mohamed el Shorbagy is one of those players based here and he will make an appearance at this year’s camps to inspire the young minds and bodies with his huge energy and presence. The vision for Bristol has been to create an environment where anyone can thrive no matter what their age or level. Seeing juniors, professionals and club players all interacting and training in the same venue is a continuous inspiration. 

This will be our first fully residential camp in Bristol having teamed up with the YHA on the riverside for the perfect combination of accommodation for a large group, location and experience. Being city center based allows for a full range of evening activéis from paddle boarding, cinema, tramp[oline parks and more. Our camps are centred on an all round experience on and off the court, building memories and friendships for life. 

The on court environment is focused and fun. A key theme this summer will be mindset and mental wellbeing. Focusing on how to use squash and competition to build confident, happy, resilient young people who enjoy the game for all of its challenges and enjoyment.  We teach how to find efficiency, control and clarity on the court through movement, sound technique and awareness giving players a better understanding and tools to play the game at their best.
