Elitesquash Juniors Travel To Winchester

“The group trip away to Winchester was positive on so many levels. For many kids, it was their first ever experience of sanctioned event. The experience gained is invaluable for their future development, and also increased their appetites for competitive play as they we’re all asking when we can do the next one! The effect a team togetherness can have for a sport, which is normally very individual, really helped the experience to be more enjoyable, especially for those who may have found it quite a daunting experience at first. There were so many great successes at the event, from overall tournament winners, to kids winning their first competitive match, right down to kids simply participating in the event!” – Richard King

“Fantastic to see some of our juniors playing their first bronze event! Competing and winning at that level as well, giving real confidence and belief for their future squash. As ever with our group conducting themselves perfectly on and off court! A very tiring weekend though as I may have come close to ‘most warm-ups ever conducted in one weekend’… And that was for Will Cheek alone!” – John Welton
