On this course you will learn the art of effective solo practice for the drop shot. Each workshop will show how to develop the best technique and movement for ball control and accuracy on this shot. We will study video examples broken down using slow motion playback to show how to apply world class execution to your short game. By the end of the course you will have a killer drop shot!

Format and content 

  • Course coach: Hadrian Stiff
  • 4 x 1 hour Zoom call live workshops
  • 10 players maximum per course 
  • Weekly personal video analysis with Hadrian on your solo technique – film the shot on your phone and send for analysis 
  • Tutorial videos to download and learn from 
  • Solo practice lesson plan PDF documents 

Week 1 – The grip and racket face angle
Week 2 – Swing shape and left / right arm balance
Week 3 – Movement patterns and timing
Week 4 – Linking the movement and the swing

I wasn’t sure how well the virtual learning would work, however having completed both your workshops I have been blown away with what I have learnt. I have found I have learnt more over these workshops, than the on court coaching I have previously received.
