‘New years resolution: get better at this healthy and fantastic game’
Our adult camps are open to all levels of player. If you are keen to improve your game on any level we are here to help. The camps respond to the needs of adult players taking on feedback and requests from attendees. As with all of our coaching we bring movement fluency and skill development into every session.
Sample camp plan:
- Watch world best movers on video and understand what are the main attributes they have to be able to cover the court quickly and with minimal effort
- Warm ups including balance, coordination of hands and feet through footwork and catching drills, lunge progressions, movement timing drills
- Movement circuit to develop speed, reaction times and body function
- Reaction drills to tennis ball drops from visible, peripheral and blind feeding positions
- Coach to feed random and deceptive variations for players to respond and play drop shots on balance – first feed into back court for player to boast then all at front
- Easy serve feed into front court for player A to attack, player B to respond with quick but easy movement then into short game rally
