The Premier Squash League 2017 kicks off with the Bristol team playing hosts to Leicester in round 2 of the Premier Squash League 2016/17 season which promises to show more world class Squash at Vivo Sports Club, home of elitesquash.
The core of Leicester squad will be familiar to squash fans with world no.17 Daryl Selby spearheading the team at 1, and Leicester local and world 99 George Parker continues to move up the rankings after securing his first ever PSA title in Barcelona in September.
The squad has strength in depth with new recruits Nafiizwan Adnan and Angus Gilliams; and there is a new look to the ladies line-up as the team welcomes Emily Whitlock and Coline Aumard to the squad.
Bristol again continue the season with there tight nit team lead by world no.7 Marwan Elshorbagy who will be playing on the night and entertaining us with his fantastic shot making and cheeky persona.
Bristols rapidly improving young guns – Josh Masters and Tom Ford now at world no.70 and 60 will be adding to the solid middle order.
Bristol new additions Lisa Aitken ex top 50 and James Peach (u19 national champion) give great cover at the bottom order with Bristol retaining their no.1 lady Tesni Evans world no.25.
